We're looking for a technically minded and commercially savvy Product Developer who enjoys working end-to-end across product development and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. This is a great opportunity to build expertise in a specialised space while working on products that reach customers across the country.

About the Role

n

Reporting to the Product Development Manager, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of electrical product ranges in line with category strategy, ensuring products meet quality and margin.

n

You will work closely with Buyers and suppliers to take products from concept through to launch, balancing innovation, cost, and speed-to-market.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Develop electrical products end-to-end, from initial concept through to final delivery
n
- Manage costings, quotes, and product specifications to achieve target margins
n
- Coordinate sample development, including pre-production and approval stages
n




- Track and manage the New Product Development (NPD) pipeline
n
- Maintain accurate product data and documentation
n
- Drive product quality, continuous improvement, and innovation across ranges
n

About You

n

n
- Experience in product development, ideally within homewares (not essential)
n
- High attention to detail with a passion for product quality
n
- Commercial mindset with the ability to balance cost, quality, and timelines
n
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects
n
- Retail or consumer goods experience is highly regarded
n
