We are seeking a Maintenance & Repairs Technician / General Handyman to join our Repairs & Maintenance Division, working across a diverse portfolio of clients including Strata, Real Estate, Insurance and Commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

n

General Repairs & Maintenance

n

n
- General repairs and handyman works across residential, strata and commercial properties
n
- Day-to-day reactive maintenance and scheduled preventative maintenance works
n




- Minor make‐good works following tenancy changes, insurance events or defect rectifications
n

n

Carpentry, Finishes & Building Works

n

n
- Basic carpentry and joinery works
n
- Door, lock, hinge and window repairs
n
- Minor tiling, paving and brick repairs
n
- Painting, patching, touch‐ups and surface preparation
n

n

Property & Common Area Works

n

n
- Common area upkeep and presentation
n
- Pressure cleaning and graffiti removal
n
- Rubbish removal and minor site clean‐ups
n
- Installation of signage, bollards, line marking and hazard controls
n
- Make safes and minor security‐related works
n

n

WHS & Compliance Works

n

n
- Carrying out WHS report rectifications (minor hazards, controls, safety improvements)
n
- Identifying safety risks on site and reporting them appropriately
n
- Working in accordance with WHS legislation, safe work practices and TCG policies
n

n

Inspections & Reporting

n

n
- Conducting basic property and common area condition inspections
n
- Providing clear feedback, photos and notes via our job management system
n
- Liaising professionally with clients, building managers, strata managers and residents
n

n

Systems & Administration

n

n
- Use of an online job management system (work orders, photos, notes, time tracking)
n
- Accurate recording of works completed and materials used
n
- Maintaining professional communication and documentation standards
n

n

About You – Skills & Experience

n

Essential:

n

n
- Proven experience as a handyman,



maintenance technician or similar role
n
- Broad skill set across general maintenance, repairs and building works
n
- Own reliable vehicle suitable for travelling between sites
n
- Own tools appropriate for general handyman, repairs and maintenance works
n
- White Card
n

- Police check (or willingness to obtain one)
n
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
n

- Ability to work independently and manage jobs efficiently as well as part of a Team
n
- Comfortable using mobile apps and online job management systems
n
- Robust communication skills and professional presentation
n
- Robust customer service skills with the ability to operate professionally at all times
n
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship and customer service
n
- Sound WHS knowledge and commitment to safe work practices
n
- Willingness and ability to follow proven systems, processes and procedures
n

- Trade background or relevant qualifications
n
- Experience working within strata, real estate or insurance environments
n
