About the Role

n

We're searching for a highly driven, energetic and very experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our on-site workshop in Meadowbrook. You'll be servicing trucks and trailers for our growing fleet, with a robust focus on trailer fault diagnosis - brakes, suspension, and electrical/ABS systems. This is a hands‐on role that demands a mature mindset, technical competence, and strong organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Manage your own job schedule and keep the workshop running smoothly
n
- Report progress on each job and promptly communicate any delays or concerns
n
- Work unsupervised on jobs in line with the workshop schedule
n
- Carry out servicing,



repairs and diagnostics on heavy vehicles and trailers
n
- Promote and uphold a strong Health & Safety culture within the business
n
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment
n

Skills & Experience Required

n

n
- Relevant trade qualifications (Cert III Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent) - mandatory
n
- Several years' proven experience across a wide range of heavy vehicles and trailers, including fault diagnosis
n
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
n
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to exceptional service
n
- Current HR driver's licence
n
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a busy workshop
n
