As our Lead Educator, you'll mentor and support your team, create engaging learning experiences, work alongside an experienced Centre Director and Educational Leader, and help shape a positive centre culture.

About the Role:
n
n
- Lead, coach and mentor educators.
n
- Deliver engaging educational programs aligned to the EYLF.
n
- Build strong relationships with children and families.

Qualifications
n
n
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or recognised equivalent at Children's Services Employee Level 4+)OR Graduate Diploma / Masters of Teaching with the required long day care experience
n
n
Experience (within a long day care setting)
n
n
- Diploma holders: minimum 2 years' Lead Educator experience.
n
- Graduate Diploma/Master of Teaching: 3–4 years' Educator experience or 2+ years' Lead Educator experience in Australian long day care.
n
- Experience leading a room in a long day care setting
n
- Confidence mentoring other educators
n
- Strong understanding of the NQF and EYLF
n
- Passion for creating engaging learning environments
n
n
Compliance Documentation
n
n
- Working with Children Check
n
- National Child Safety Training (GECCKO)
n
- RRHAN Fundamentals & Masterclass (SA where applicable)
n
- ACT Child Abuse and Neglect Training (where applicable)
n
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
n
n

- Applicants must hold a completed Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or recognised equivalent).

- Applicants working towards a Diploma are not eligible.

- Graduate Diploma/Master of Teaching applicants must also meet the required early childhood experience criteria.
n
- Availability to work opening and/or closing shifts is required.
