TRS Staffing is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to join our client’s Adelaide-based team and support the delivery of a major EPCM project with a globally recognised Tier 1 EPCM organisation.
Role focus
The Senior Construction Manager will provide construction and execution leadership through the engineering phase, with responsibility for shaping execution strategies, constructability outcomes, and delivery planning ahead of leading construction during the execution phase.
The role will focus on civil works, including:
- Bulk earthworks
- Site civil works
- Non-process infrastructure areas

Duties and responsibilities
- Lead and direct Project Engineers and construction personnel through the engineering and construction phases of the project.
- Manage and coordinate assigned project activities in alignment with project objectives.
- Engage and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead and contribute to constructability reviews and execution planning activities.
- Provide input into the development of project schedules.
- Work with Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) partners to support execution strategy development, including constructability, schedule planning, equipment requirements, heavy lift strategies, staffing, and cost inputs.
- Manage and contribute to key project deliverables, including Project Execution Plans (PEP), constructability reports, and temporary facilities planning.
- Participate in project risk assessments.
- Coordinate with technical disciplines, suppliers, contractors, and the client to support integrated, fit-for-purpose solutions.
Skills and experience required
- Accredited four-year degree, or approximately 20 years’ applicable construction experience on large and complex projects.
- Proven ability to coordinate and direct others in their respective roles to meet or exceed project objectives.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior management, colleagues, clients, suppliers, and contractors.
- Modularisation experience would be highly regarded.
