About the role

n

We are seeking switched-on and professional Security Officers to join the security team at a leading Australian university located in Sydney's CBD. This is a full-time patrolling role, ideal for candidates who enjoy being active on shift and engaging with people in a customer-focused environment.

n

This role operates on 4 on 4 off roster, offering excellent work-life balance within a professional campus setting.

n

The position is paid at $29.24 per hour plus superannuation and applicable shift loadings. Shifts will be rostered with a mix of days and nights.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Conduct foot and mobile patrols across campus facilities
n
- Maintain a visible security presence and provide customer service support
n
- Respond to incidents, alarms and requests for assistance
n




- Enforce site policies and safety procedures
n
- Liaise with students, staff, visitors and contractors
n
- Complete accurate incident reports and shift documentation
n

n

Essential requirements

n

n
- Current NSW security licence
n
- Current First aid and CPR certificate
n
- Previous experience in a security role
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Professional presentation and customer-focused approach
n
