Are you someone who enjoys working with your hands, solving problems, and building quality projects?

n

Integrated Equipment Services (IES) is looking for an experienced Project Technician / Handyman to join our growing Projects Division.

n

This isn't your typical maintenance role. You'll work on commercial projects across Australia, constructing cool room panel walls, building panel shop infrastructure, completing commercial fit-outs, and assisting with a wide range of building and facility improvement projects.

n

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Constructing cool room and insulated panel wall systems
n
- Building panel shop infrastructure and workshop fit-outs
n
- Installing partition walls, doors and general building components
n
- Assisting with commercial refurbishment and make-good projects
n
- General handyman, carpentry and construction tasks
n
- Operating power and hand tools safely
n
- Working alongside electricians, plumbers, painters and other trades
n
- Regular interstate travel to complete commercial projects
n
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
n

What We're Looking For

n





To be successful, you'll ideally have:

n

n
- Experience in construction, carpentry, maintenance or handyman work
n
- Confidence using a wide range of power tools
n
- Ability to work from plans and follow instructions
n
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
n
- Construction White Card (Essential)
n
- Ability to work independently and within a team
n
- A positive attitude and willingness to travel
n

n

Highly regarded but not essential:

n

n
- Carpentry experience
n
- Forklift Licence
n
- EWP Ticket
n
- Working at Heights
n
- First Aid Certificate
n

n

Travel Requirements

n

This role includes regular interstate travel throughout Australia.

n

Applicants must be able to travel with approximately one week's notice when projects require.

n

All flights, accommodation, meals (where applicable) and travel expenses are paid by the company.

n

Hours

n

- 10-hour shifts
n
- Regular overtime
n
- Weekend work may be required during project delivery
n
- Penalty rates paid where applicable
n
