NQ Truck & 4WD Wreckers' is seeking Dismantlers for our Wrecking Yard in Mareeba, QLD. This is a casual role that involves removing mechanical parts and panels from vehicles.

What you'll be doing

Remove various vehicle parts and components from trucks and 4wds including engines, gearboxes, diffs, parts and panels
n
Prepare parts for collection or freight
n
Comply with all health, safety and environmental regulations
n
Assist with other general wrecking yard duties as required
n
What we're looking for

Mechanical knowledge and skills
n
Strong practical skills and the ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
n
Good attention to detail and the capacity to work methodically and efficiently
n
Willingness to work in an outdoor, physical labour setting
n
Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
n
A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to follow instructions
