Salary: 77,000.00-83,000.00 per year

We are looking for a qualified Sheetmetal Trades Worker to join our growing team. This role involves the fabrication, assembly, and on-site installation of sheet metal products, with a robust focus on HVAC ductwork installation, someone who can do marks out, shapes, forms and joins Sheetmetal and other materials to make products and components.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Shaping cut metal pieces into finished products using presses, rollers
n
- Repairing damaged sheet metal products
n
- Read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and job specifications
n
- Measure, cut, fold, and shape sheet metal using hand and power tools
n
- Fabricate sheet metal components including HVAC ducts, fittings, panels, and flashings
n
- Install ductwork systems on-site, ensuring correct alignment, sealing, and support
n
- Assemble and fix sheet metal components using bolts,



rivets, welding, or other methods
n
- Ensure all duct installations meet project requirements and Australian standards
n
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and proper airflow performance
n
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
n
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
n
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines
n

Essential Requirements

n

n
- Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Sheet Metal) or equivalent
n
- Proven experience as a Sheetmetal Trades Worker, preferably in HVAC projects
n
- Experience in duct fabrication and duct installation
n
- Ability to read and work from drawings and plans
n
- Good knowledge of tools, machinery, and installation techniques
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
n
- Understanding of WHS requirements
n
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently on-site
n
