We are currently seeking a part time position of an ECT Educator who ispassionate about early childhood education and care and hasexperience in the sector.

The role as an ECT will also see you inspiring the programs while ensuring a safe and stimulating learning workplace.

n

The ECT should possess a Bachelor of Education/Teaching or currently Working Towards.

n

As an Early Childhood Teacher your rolewill entail:

n

Building positive and caringrelationships with the children and their families

n

Applying your pedagogical knowledge and expertise to ensure the individual needs of all children are met

n

Observing, documenting, interpreting and evaluating the children's progress,

n

Keeping informed about the NQF, NQS and the current National Regulations plus current thinking,



research and practice while implementing the EYLF

n

Planning and programming an outstanding educational program for our children

n

Complying with the relevant government regulations

n

Meet and exceed the individual needs of each child in all areas of their development

n

Maintain a clean and safe work setting.

n

Create a supportive, stimulating and secure learning environment for the children

n

Skills and experience you will need:

n

Recognised Early Childhood Bachelor (or actively working towards)

n

Passion for Early Childhood Education and Care

n

Skills to lead other educators, motivating them to excel as you deliver care and educational programs

n

A strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS

n

Current First Aid and CPR Training

n

Child Protection Certificate

n

Hold a current Working with Children Check

n

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

n
