- Lead large-scale enterprise network and cloud transformation programs across SD-WAN, SASE, cloud, data center networking, and security.
- Shape architecture strategy and influence technology roadmaps for some of Australia's largest enterprise environments.
- Work closely with senior client stakeholders to design innovative, scalable, and secure network solutions.
- Location: Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, or Perth.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Architect to lead the design and delivery of complex network and security transformation programs. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, translating business requirements into modern, scalable, and secure architectures across enterprise networking, cloud connectivity, and security domains.

This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale transformation initiatives while partnering with senior stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional delivery groups to develop innovative solutions that drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead network architecture and design activities for enterprise transformation programs.
- Define architecture strategies across SD-WAN, SASE, cloud networking, data center networking, and network security.
- Translate business and client requirements into scalable technical solutions aligned with industry trends and standard service offerings.
- Review RFPs and RFIs and contribute to high-quality solution responses, business cases, and transformation roadmaps.
- Partner with senior client stakeholders to shape network and security strategies.
- Produce architecture and design documentation including HLDs, LLDs, Bills of Materials, and implementation standards.
- Provide technical leadership throughout planning, implementation, migration, and transformation activities.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to address business needs.
- Support multi-vendor enterprise networking environments and technology ecosystems.
- Collaborate with project, delivery, and operational teams to ensure solution quality and governance.

Required Experience / Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering, architecture,



or transformation roles.
- 5+ years of experience leading large-scale network and cloud transformation programs.
- Extensive experience with enterprise routing and switching technologies, including BGP, OSPF, Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, and ACI.
- Strong expertise in SASE architectures and solutions, including Netskope, Fortinet, or Palo Alto technologies.
- Experience designing and implementing next-generation firewall solutions and application delivery technologies.
- Proven experience with cloud networking across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of multi-vendor networking environments and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience producing architecture and design documentation for large enterprise programs.
- Knowledge of governance, change management, and IT service management practices.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, consulting, communication, and presentation skills.

- Cisco CCIE or CCNP (Enterprise or Security)
- Palo Alto PCNSE or Prisma-related certification
- Fortinet NSE 7 or higher
- Netskope Certified Cloud Security Architect

Cloud Certifications

- AWS Advanced Networking Specialty
- Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700)
- Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer

Additional Preferred Experience

- Experience supporting large enterprise or government environments.
- Exposure to complex cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
- Experience developing transformation roadmaps and executive-level technology strategies.
- Existing Australian security clearance highly regarded.
