About The Role

We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacist-in-Charge to join our busy pharmacy team full-time in the Mackay Region, QLD. In this role, you will work closely with the Pharmacist Manager to oversee daily operations, streamline dispensary workflow, and ensure the accurate and safe dispensing of medications in full compliance with pharmacy legislation, professional standards, and company policies. Beyond dispensary management, you will play a pivotal role in patient care by delivering expert healthcare advice, counselling on the quality use of medicines, and administering clinical services, including vaccinations. You will also focus on building strong relationships with our customers and local healthcare providers while supporting the pharmacy’s ongoing professional care and business objectives.

About Our Ideal Candidate

- Registration: Holds current, unrestricted Pharmacist registration with AHPRA.
- Experience Level: Open to both experienced and newly registered Pharmacists.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Attributes: Friendly, reliable,



and thrives working in a busy pharmacy environment.
- Certifications: Immunisation accreditation/vaccination certificate is highly desirable.

About The Offer

Hours: Full-time (76 hours per fortnight across a rotating 2-week roster):

- Week 1: Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
- Week 2: Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM) & Sat (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

Pay Rate: $60 – $65/hr (commensurate with experience).

Relocation Support: $2,000 relocation assistance available (please note: accommodation is not provided).
