We are expanding our Water Infrastructure Team in South East Queensland (SEQ). The Water Infrastructure group provides services to a range of internal and external clients on projects covering water and wastewater treatment, dams, asset management, major conveyance, industrial, civil infrastructure, mining, and defence sectors, with a key focus on supporting sustainable outcomes. We are looking for a proven electrical engineer to join the team.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Electrical engineering works associated with pumping stations, equipment, water and wastewater treatment plants, ventilation, fire protection and HVAC systems.
n
- Contribute to the delivery of electrical design packages for projects across QLD and beyond.
n
- Electrical systems design including instrumentation, power distribution, control and communications.
n
- Technical studies including modelling and computational analysis.
n
- Electrical project cost estimating.
n
- Computer‐aided drafting.
n
- Prepare and lead proposals, design schedules, budgets, and technical and commercial submissions for bid proposals associated with electrical work for external clients (depending on level).
n




- Mentor junior members of the team.

Qualifications

n

n
- Demonstrated experience on municipal water and/or wastewater projects.
n
- Experience working within a agile consulting and design environment and in industrial electrical, instrument and control systems engineering.
n
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and CPEng / RPEQ.
n
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
n
- Project Management & Quality Management procedures experience (desirable).
n
