Our client is one of Victorias leading Commercial Builders with multiple offices down the Eastern Seaboard and proven track record of delivering challenging projects $1M to $80M +.

Due to continued successthey require a talented Estimatorto join the pre- construction team.

n

The Role

n

Located in there stylish West Melbourne office,you will be joining an established team of leading professionals (Estimating, Design, Delivery) tendering diverse & challenging projects. Sectors include commercial, institutional, health, aged care, educational and research facilities (fit out, refurbishment & construction).

n

Experience

n

The successful candidate must have at least 4yrs construction experience with a reputable Commercial Builder, or major Sub Contractor, having progressed their career in a relevant Estimating, Quantity Surveying or Cost Planning position.

n

This will come with a demonstrable record of tendering major construction projects to $1M to $20M plus.

n





You will be tertiary qualified with in Quantity Surveying, Bachelor of Construction Economics/Management, Engineering or similar qualification.

- Robust analytical and numerical abilities

- Expertise in measurement and cost management

- Strong communication and negotiation skills
n
- Proven track record of tendering/estimating multi million dollar construction projects from inception to completion.
n
- Developing understanding of technical construction planning, programme, and commercial risk.
n
- Developing exposure to construction contracts and legal considerations.
