Bright Minds Academy Abbotsbury is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Room Assistant to join our Nursery (0–2 years) team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of infants and toddlers.

About the Role

n

As a Room Assistant, you will work alongside our experienced educators to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where our youngest children can learn, grow, and thrive. You will play an important role in supporting children's daily routines, learning experiences, and overall wellbeing.

n

Your Responsibilities

n

n
- Support educators in providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0–2 years.
n
- Assist with daily routines including meals, sleep, nappy changing, and hygiene practices.
n
- Build warm, responsive relationships with children and their families.
n




- Help prepare engaging learning experiences that support children's development.
n
- Maintain a clean, secure, and welcoming learning environment.
n
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the highest standards of care and supervision are maintained.
n

About You

n

We're looking for someone who:

n

n
- Has a genuine passion for working with infants and toddlers.
n
- Is caring, patient, and positive.
n
- Works well within a team and communicates effectively.
n
- Is reliable, motivated, and eager to learn.
n
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) a current Working With Children Check.
n
- Holds or is working towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (preferred but not essential for the right candidate).
n
- Has current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training (or is willing to obtain them).
n
