We are seeking compassionate and reliable Personal Care Workers to join our Residential Aged Care team in a permanent part-time Holiday Relief role, offering 55 hours per fortnight, AM, PM and Night Shifts. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while providing essential cover during planned staff leave, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.

The Role

n

You'll support residents with personal care, comfort, mobility, and safety during weekday night shifts in our 89-bed home. Reporting to the Manager and working closely with the RN, you'll help maintain a calm, supportive overnight environment.

n

You'll provide safe, high-quality care in line with each resident's care plan. A strong understanding of residential aged care standards, along with empathy and compassion, is essential.

What you will do

n

The Personal Care Worker is responsible for ensuring:

n

n
- Personal care is provided in accordance with each resident's needs and preferences such as personal hygiene, continence care, mobility, eating & drinking etc.
n
- Clinical Care such as medication support, basic dressings, and wound care, measuring vital signs etc
n
- Social and recreational support such as assisting residents' family and visitors, and assisting residents attending activities.
n
- Domestic services such as cleaning and serving meals,
n
- Assessment and care planning such as completing care documentation, including progress notes and daily charts
n

n

Who are you and what will you bring?

n

n
- Minimum Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent (or enrolled in same)
n
- Experience in providing daily care and activities to clients
n
- Experience in working in an Aged Care setting
n
- Currently hold and maintain an NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain)
n
- Be passionate about delivering a person-centered approach to care
n
- Demonstrate solid verbal and written communication skills
n
