The Company

A global industry leader in the manufacturing of steel bolted storage tanks for the Industrial, Mining, Fire & Building Services, Power, Commercial Rainwater Harvesting, Waste Water and Dairy Effluent industries. Based in Glendenning, our client is currently seeking experienced multiple FieldTank Installers/Trade Assistant to join their growing team.

Monday to Friday: 6:30am/7am starts

About the Role
n
This role involves travelling to customer sites to construct, install and commission steel bolted storage tanks. Projects are located across metropolitan, regional and interstate locations with travel forming a key part of the position.
n Depending on project requirements, you may be required to work away from home for up to four weeks at a time, working closely with a team of three installers.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Construct and install steel bolted storage tanks at customer sites across Australia.
n
- Read and interpret installation drawings,
plans and work instructions.
n
- Carry out inspections, installation and repairs in accordance with company standards and customer requirements.
n
- Assemble tank components, factory fittings, liners and associated equipment.
n
- Perform internal and external tank repairs, structural adjustments and component replacements where required.
n
- Complete on-site assembly, commissioning and functional testing of tank systems.
n
- Safely operate hand and power tools while adhering to all WHS procedures and site safety requirements.
n
- Maintain a clean, organised and protected worksite at all times.
n
- Complete service reports, site documentation and customer sign-off requirements.
n
- Communicate professionally with clients and supervisors throughout each project.
n
- Identify hazards and report any safety or maintenance concerns promptly.
n
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
- Previous experience in a similar role as a Trade Assistant, Installer, Construction Labourer or Production Assembler.
n
- Previous experience installing or working with steel storage tanks is highly regarded but not essential.
n
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
n
- Must have White Card, Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets (all tickets must be valid and issued within the past two years).
n
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout NSW and interstate, including extended trips of up to four weeks.
n
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling duties
n
- Ability to read and follow drawings, instructions and safety procedures.
n
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
n
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
n
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
