Prestige Inhome Care is seeking experienced Personal Care Attendants to provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients across Sydney's Northern Suburbs, including Neutral Bay, Mosman, Cremorne, Hunters Hill, Chatswood, Lindfield, Dee Why and surrounding areas.

About the Role

n

As a Personal Care Attendant, you will support clients with their activities of daily living (ADLs), including:

n

n
- Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities
n
- Supporting clients with showering, bathing, dressing and grooming
n
- Toileting and continence management
n
- Providing catheter and stoma bag care for male and female clients
n
- Supporting clients living with dementia, including using appropriate strategies to respond to resistance to care
n
- Assisting with oral hygiene routines
n
- Medication prompting
n
- Supporting clients with eating and drinking
n
- Assisting with mobility aids and equipment tailored to individual client needs
n
- Providing companionship, emotional support and encouragement
n

n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Previous experience working as a Personal Care Attendant in aged care, disability support, or home and community care
n
- Confidence providing personal care, including catheter and stoma care
n
- Experience supporting clients living with dementia and knowledge of strategies to promote positive care outcomes
n




- A qualification in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability Support, Nursing, or a related field
n
- A current driver's licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle to travel between client appointments
n
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
n
- An NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Flexibility and availability to work short-hour services across multiple locations
n
