Our client is a well-established Sydney law firm looking for a motivated Strata/ Litigation Lawyer to join their growing team. Acting for owners corporations, strata committees, building managers and lot owners, you will work across a broad range of strata and dispute resolution matters. This role has become available due to continued growth within the practice.

Duties

n

n
- Advise clients on strata governance, by-law breaches and owners corporation responsibilities
n
- Manage NCAT, Local Court, Supreme Court and Land & Environment Court matters
n




- Advise on building defects, SOPA claims and construction disputesDraft and negotiate by-laws, easements, leases and caretaker agreements
n
- Manage strata conveyancing and property-related transactions
n
- Provide strategic advice and representation across a broad range of strata law matters
n

The Candidate

n

n
- Current NSW Practising Certificate
n
- Experience in strata, litigation or construction law
n
- Strong drafting, advocacy and negotiation skills
n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
- Strong attention to detail and client management skills
