This is a unique opportunity to join a market-leading team advising owners and operators of some of Australia's most significant transport, logistics and strategic assets. The team acts for leading airport operators, government-owned corporations, telecommunications providers and major transport and logistics businesses on matters shaping Australia's transport and digital economy.

The Role

The team has a broad commercial practice combining sophisticated transactions with strategic advisory work. You will work across a diverse range of:

- Commercial transactions and contracting
- Procurement and project delivery
- Infrastructure and front-end projects
- Regulatory matters
- Corporate and property-related transactions

The practice provides exposure across the full lifecycle of major assets, from acquisitions and commercial structuring through to procurement, contract negotiation, project delivery, operational issues and long-term asset management.

You will work closely with lawyers across the broader firm to deliver an integrated, full-service offering to clients. Client secondment opportunities may also arise, providing valuable in-house commercial experience with major organisations.

About you

The successful candidate will have 3+ years' post-admission experience in a leading law firm.

Additionally, you will have:

- Strong academic credentials;




- Experience in commercial transactions, procurement, front-end projects, corporate, property or another transactional practice;
- Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements;
- Solid commercial judgement and an ability to identify practical solutions;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining exceptional client service; and
- A genuine interest in developing a long-term practice advising owners and operators of major transport, logistics and strategic assets.
