Our client is a well-established South Australian manufacturing business with multiple operational sites and a strong reputation for quality products and exceptional customer service. As the business continues to grow, they're looking for an experienced HR People & Safety Senior Advisor to lead the people function while also taking strategic oversight of Work Health & Safety.

Reporting directly to the Directors, you'll lead the Human Resources function while overseeing people, safety and compliance across the business. You'll mentor and develop the HR Coordinator, ensuring day-to-day HR administration, payroll support and Return to Work coordination are delivered

effectively, while also providing strategic oversight of WHS in partnership with operational leaders.

This is a genuinely hands-on role. You'll be out building relationships with operational leaders, coaching managers, and making sure HR and WHS systems actually work in practice, not just on paper. Regular site attendance isn't expected, but you'll be comfortable getting out to sites, joining toolbox talks, and supporting key WHS initiatives when it matters.

What you'll bring:

- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience
- Demonstrated experience in a senior HR Generalist, HR Business Partner or HR Manager role
- Robust knowledge of Australian employment legislation and Fair Work
- Experience managing employee relations and workplace investigations
- Experience mentoring or leading HR team members
- Experience implementing and improving HR systems and processes
- Current driver's licence
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, construction or industrial sectors highly regarded
- Exposure to WHS systems, Return to Work or injury management experience highly regarded
- Experience using Employment Hero or similar HRIS platforms highly regarded
