We have 2 Permanent Part-Time positions offering stability. The set roster includes the following regular night shifts:

- Mon: 23:24 - 07:30 (2 Positions Available - Sandpiper Lodge and McCracken Views)

- Tues: 23:24 - 07:30 (2 Positions Available - Sandpiper Lodge and McCracken Views)

- Wed: 23:24 - 07:30 (1 Position Available - Sandpiper Lodge)

About the Role

n





As a Night Shift Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality clinical care, lead our night care and support teams, and ensure the absolute safety and well-being of our residents during the night.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Provide holistic leadership and guidance to the night care team each shift.
n
- Deliver safe, high-quality, and person-centred clinical services tailored to residents' needs.
n
- Assess and review residents' health status, monitoring wellbeing and responding effectively to any clinical changes overnight.
n
- Supervise staff in daily living and clinical care routines, ensuring a secure and peaceful workplace.
n
- Maintain strict adherence to workplace health and safety policies and apply AN-ACC principles where required.

About You

n

You are a clinically sound, empathetic leader who thrives in a night shift environment. To be successful in this role, you will bring:

n

n
- Qualifications: A Bachelor of Nursing with current, unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
n
- Certifications: Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certificates.
n
- Experience: Previous experience as an RN within an Aged Care environment, with strong knowledge of Aged Care Standards as they relate to accreditation.
n
- Clinical Expertise: Excellent contemporary clinical knowledge (including aged care medications) and a high-level understanding of dementia care and supporting residents with challenging behaviours.
n
- Skills: Outstanding problem-solving skills (balancing resident independence and safety), exceptional time management, and the ability to confidently lead night staff.
n
- Communication: Strong English literacy skills to write clear progress notes and communicate effectively and compassionately.
