With 3 kitchens, 4 bars, a bottleshop, live music, and event spaces of all shapes and sizes, we now have a great opportunity for a 'pub-pro' to join our team as Venue Manageras we continue to serve Melbourne's East.

The Role

This is a hands-on role reporting to the General Manager that will see you;

n

- Lead the day-to-day operations of one of the region's busiest hospitality venues.
n
- Inspire, coach and develop a team of department managers to deliver outstanding results.
n
- Create exceptional guest experiences by driving service standards across every area of the hotel.
n
- Build a positive, high-performing culture where people enjoy coming to work.
n
- Drive strong stock control, purchasing, and cost-of-goods performance across all departments.
n
- Work closely with the General Manager to achieve sales, profit and operational goals.
n
- Identify opportunities to grow revenue while maintaining exceptional hospitality standards.
n
- Oversee recruitment, training and succession planning to build a strong leadership team.
n
- Ensure the venue consistently presents at its very best, with strong compliance and operational excellence.
n
- Support the delivery of major events, promotions and community initiatives.
n
- Be a hands-on leader who thrives on the floor, leading from the front during busy service periods.

The Successful Candidate

n

We're looking for a hands-on Venue Manager who is approachable,



confident and thrives in a fast-paced pub environment. You'll bring strong hospitality experience, commercial acumen and a genuine passion for leading people and creating memorable guest experiences.

You'll also bring:

- Proven experience leading a high-volume hotel, pub or large-format hospitality venue.
n
- A strong background across food, beverage and bar operations.
n
- A hands-on leadership style, with a passion for being on the floor and leading by example.
n
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing labour, stock and cost of goods.
n
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and continually raising service standards.
n
- A natural ability to coach, mentor and develop high-performing leaders and teams.
n
- The ability to remain calm under pressure while thriving in a fast-paced environment.
n
- A positive, energetic leadership style that creates a fun, accountable and inclusive workplace.
