Optical Dispenser/ Assistant (Part Time & Casual positions)

Specsavers Ashfield is looking for passionate Optical Dispensers and Retail Assistants to join our dynamic team. We are well-established local optical practice who needs a part time or casual optical assistant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their optical needs. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced retail environment and be part of a growing, customer-focused organisation.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service to all customers
n
- Assisting customers with frame selection, lens recommendations and orders
n
- Accurately measuring and fitting customers for glasses and contact lenses
n
- Processing sales transactions and handling cash and payments
n
- Maintaining a well-presented and organised retail space
n
- Supporting the optometrists and other team members as required
n

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably within the optical industry
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for helping customers
n
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
n




- Adaptable and adaptable approach to handle a variety of tasks and changing priorities
n
- A team player with a positive and friendly attitude
n
- Can work independently
n
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems and processes
n
