As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced OHS & Safety Coordinator to help strengthen our safety culture and support our commitment to protecting our people every day.

Role

n

Working across Steel Frame Solutions and Perfect Windows & Doors, you'll partner with operational leaders and employees to identify risks, improve safety systems and ensure our workplaces remain safe, compliant and continuously improving.

n

You'll spend time both on the factory floor and in the office, building relationships, coaching employees, conducting audits, developing procedures and delivering practical training that makes a real difference.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Conduct workplace safety audits and inspections across both manufacturing sites.
n
- Develop,



implement and maintain Risk Registers, Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs), SWMS and safety documentation.
n
- Identify hazards, investigate incidents and implement effective corrective actions.
n
- Deliver engaging safety inductions, toolbox talks and ongoing training programs.
n
- Maintain training registers and competency records.
n
- Develop and implement traffic management plans for manufacturing facilities.
n
- Maintain safety compliance documentation including policies, procedures and Safety Data Sheets.
n
- Support WorkCover and Return to Work activities where required.
n
- Build strong working relationships with production teams, supervisors and managers to promote a proactive safety culture.
n
- Ensure compliance with Victorian WorkSafe legislation, industry standards and company policies.
n
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to organisational safety KPIs.

About You

n

You're a proactive safety professional who enjoys working alongside operational teams and believes the best safety outcomes come from education, engagement and practical solutions.

n

You'll have:

n

n
- Demonstrated experience in an OHS/WHS role within manufacturing, industrial, steel fabrication, building products or construction.
n
- Strong knowledge of Victorian WorkSafe legislation and WHS compliance requirements.
n
- Experience developing SOPs, SWMS,



risk assessments and safety management systems.
n
- Experience conducting workplace audits and managing corrective actions through to completion.
n
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
n
- The ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
n
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities across two manufacturing businesses.
n

Desirable

n

n
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or higher).
n
- Experience with ISO 45001 or similar WHS management systems.
n
- Experience using SafetyCulture (iAuditor) or similar auditing software.
n
- Traffic Management qualification.
n
- Experience in steel manufacturing, window manufacturing, building products or industrial manufacturing.
n
- Experience supporting WorkCover claims and Return to Work programs.
n
