Job Description

L9 Fitness is looking for a practical and creative Content Producer to help us produce social media, educational and training content.

We already have content formats, examples and systems that work. We are looking for someone who can learn those formats, work efficiently and help us turn raw footage and ideas into a consistent flow of finished content.

n

The role includes editing, content repurposing and onsite filming. Most of our filming is completed using simple DJI equipment, so you do not need to be a high-end cinematographer or own an extensive camera setup.

Content Producer and Video Editor

What you will be doing

n

Your work may include:

n

n
- Cutting raw footage into short social media clips
n
- Turning one piece of content into several formats
n
- Adapting content for different social media channels
n
- Filming content at L9 locations and other locations when required
n
- Filming and editing training and educational videos
n
- Working from existing examples, templates and brand formats
n
- Adding captions, hooks, graphics and other simple editing elements
n
- Organising footage, project files and finished content
n
- Helping us improve the consistency and volume of our content
n
- Testing new editing styles, hooks and content ideas
n

Around 80 to 90 percent of the role will involve working with formats and approaches that are already established.

n

The remaining 10 to 20 percent gives you room to test ideas, make suggestions and help us improve what we are producing.

Working efficiently

n

A large part of this role is producing clear, useful content without making the process more complicated than it needs to be.

n





We are looking for someone who can work at a good pace, make sensible editing decisions and keep projects moving.

n

Experience producing content regularly or working to short turnaround times would be useful. This could come from professional work, freelance projects, study, your own social channels or personal creative projects.

n

We still care about quality, but we are not looking for every social media clip to become a major production.

You do not need to be an expert in every part of the role from the beginning.

n

We are open to people with different levels and types of experience, provided you can demonstrate good judgement, reliability and the ability to produce finished work.

Skills and experience

n

Experience using video editing software is required.

n





Experience with any of the following would be helpful:

- Instagram Reels, TikTok or YouTube Shorts
n
- Short-form social media editing
n
- Captions, hooks and basic motion graphics
n
- Filming with compact cameras or DJI equipment
n
- Educational or training content
n
- Content repurposing
n
- File management and content workflows
n
- Working with established templates or brand styles
n
- Producing content to regular deadlines
n

Experience in the fitness industry is not essential.

n

Some familiarity with calisthenics, strength training or movement-based fitness would be useful, but it is not a requirement. We can teach you the terminology, formats and subject matter you need to know.

L9 Fitness is a growing fitness business focused on structured calisthenics, strength, mobility and skill development.

We produce social media content, training videos, educational resources and internal content for our members, coaches and locations.

n

In the short term, we are looking for the right person or people to help us increase our content output.

n

Longer term, we are building a dedicated content team. For the right person, there may be opportunities to take on more responsibility as the team grows.

Location and work arrangements

n

This role is based on the Gold Coast and will involve filming at different locations.

n

You will need to be available for onsite filming when required. Some editing work may be completed remotely.

n

We are open to discussing casual, part-time or freelance arrangements depending on your experience, availability and the needs of the role.
