Our Distribution Risk team supports Macquarie Business Banking by managing risk across our business lending and deposit distribution activities. We work closely with stakeholders across the business and risk functions to strengthen governance, maintain compliance, and embed practical risk management practices that support sustainable growth.

What role will you play?

In this role you will help drive the continuous improvement of the risk and compliance frameworks that support our distribution responsibilities. You will manage risks across the client lifecycle, oversee the investigation and resolution of incidents and customer complaints, and identify opportunities to improve processes and controls. You will also partner with the business on strategic initiatives, providing risk guidance and helping ensure risk assessments and control frameworks are embedded into change programmes from the outset.

What you offer

- 3+ years’ of experience in Risk or Compliance within financial services, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk frameworks
- Experience managing operational risk across client processes, including governance, controls, incidents, complaints,



and remediation activities
- Proven ability to deliver governance and control improvements through programmes of work and business change initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes, assess trends, and develop practical solutions
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience influencing outcomes, delivering risk training, and working across multiple teams and functions
