STRUCTURAL ENGINEER - Fast-Track to Associate

The Opportunity

- If you've reached Senior Structural Engineer level and feel you're capable of more, the next move should give you a genuine prospect to prove it.
- We're representing a highly regarded Brisbane structural engineering consultancy seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with approximately 5–9 years' experience who wants greater project ownership, leadership responsibility and a clear pathway towards Associate.
- You'll work alongside highly experienced structural engineers on some exceptional projects while being encouraged to develop the leadership, client and commercial skills required to take the next major step in your career.
- This isn't an opportunity where you'll have to wait years for someone above you to move before you can progress.
- Perform well, demonstrate your capability and the pathway to Associate can happen quickly.

- Potential Brisbane Olympic-related projects

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you'll have:

- Approximately 5-9 years' structural engineering experience within an Australian consultancy
- Strong building structures design experience
- Experience with ETABS and ideally other packages such as SpaceGass, RAPT, RAM Concept, Strand7 or similar
- Experience delivering commercial, residential, or major building projects
- Some experience mentoring or guiding less experienced engineers
- The confidence to take increasing ownership of projects and client relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ambition to progress beyond Senior Engineer and become an Associate
