ABOUT THE ROLE

n

Reporting to the Underground Maintenance Foreman, the Underground Mobile Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of HD Mechanics, Auto Electricians, Boilermakers, Service Personnel and contractors.

n

The role will coordinate planned and breakdown maintenance activities, manage labour and resources and ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with statutory requirements, company standards and maintenance plans.

n

Key responsibilities include

n

n
- Providing day-to-day leadership and direction to underground maintenance personnel.
n
- Mentoring the team in troubleshooting, safe work practices and quality standards.
n
- Coordinating labour and resources against the weekly maintenance schedule.
n
- Leading major breakdown repairs and supporting effective breakdown management.
n
- Ensuring scheduled maintenance tasks are completed and accurately closed within the maintenance system.
n
- Reviewing machine defects and confirming labour and parts requirements.
n
- Ensuring isolations, permits, barricading and critical controls are correctly applied.
n
- Maintaining Schedule 26 and other statutory compliance requirements.
n
- Monitoring employee training, competency and development.
n
- Providing accurate shift handovers and escalating critical fleet issues.
n




- Working closely with Operations, Planning, Reliability, Warehouse and OEM representatives.

ABOUT YOU

n

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience leading mobile maintenance teams within an underground mining environment.

n

n
- Mechanical or Electrical Trade qualification in heavy plant.
n
- Minimum three years' experience as a Mobile Maintenance Supervisor or in a similar mining leadership role.
n
- Experience maintaining underground mobile equipment.
n
- Strong understanding of underground mobile fleets and maintenance practices.
n
- Experience using a CMMS such as AMT or SAP.
n
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
n
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
n
- Additional maintenance, leadership or professional qualifications.
n
- Permanent full time opportunity

n
