We have a great chance for an outgoing and service focused Receptionist/Guest Service Agent to support the Front Office, Sales and Banqueting teams at our stunning Alamanda Palm Cove Hotel.

n

ABOUT THE ROLE

n
- Help deliver exceptional guest experiences at every part of the journey including reservations, arrivals, departures and throughout their stay
n
- Be an ambassador for the hotel, positively representing and promoting our boutique brand
n
- Be a key part of the guest experience, interacting wherever and whenever possible
n
- Help to ensure a smooth check in and out process for our guests utilizing the Hotel's PMS system
n
- Answer and process reservation enquiries, make recommendations and upsell rooms according to availability
n
- Coordinate with other departments
n
- Answer and dispatch both incoming external and internal calls
n
- Maintain sufficient knowledge of all room rates and available packages
n
- Follow up on all guest requests and complaints
n
- Be a key part of the guest experience, interacting wherever and whenever possible
n
- Support the operational teams with administrative tasks as required
n

ABOUT YOU

n
- Have a desire to genuinely help people
n
- Excellent telephone technique and the ability to maintain friendly relations with both our internal and external customers
n
- Good time management and communication skills
n
- Well-developed computer knowledge and strong administrative skills
n
- You have a warm,



personable yet professional disposition
n
- Front Office/reservation experience preferred but not essential
n
- Success in a similar role preferred but not essential, we are employing on attitude not just experience
n
- Deliver exceptional guest service and get a kick out of helping, problem-solving and being accountable for your workload
n
- An acute eye for detail and exceptional interactive social skills
n
- Ability to work under pressure in a diverse, fast paced environment, by taking initiative and working collaboratively
n
- Positive mindset and a can do attitude
