The opportunity

n

As a Parking Officer, you'll help keep our community safe,accessible and moving by undertaking parking patrols,inspections and compliance activities across the municipality.This hands-on, field-based role combines enforcement, customerservice and community education, ensuring parking regulationsare applied fairly and consistently while supporting positivecommunity outcomes

What you'lldo

n

- Conductparking patrols and monitor compliance with parkingrestrictions.
n
- Issueinfringements, warnings and compliance notices in linewith legislation and Council procedures.
n
- Educateand engage with residents, motorists and businesses toencourage voluntary compliance.
n
- Respondto parking-related enquiries, complaints and servicerequests professionally.
n
- Maintain accurate enforcement records and supportingevidence.
n

What you need to succeed

n

n
- Experience in compliance, enforcement, customer serviceor field-based operational work.
n
- Abilityto interpret and apply legislation, regulations andpolicies.
n
- Strongcommunication and customer service skills.
n
- Abilityto work independently,



use sound judgement and managecompeting priorities.
n
- Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Officeand record-keeping systems.
n

Pre-Employment Requirements

n

Progressed candidates will be required to completeaNational Police Record Check, a Pre-Employment Medical Check& a Working With Children Check (WWCC). Candidates must also holda valid Victorian Driver's License.

n

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident orhold a valid work permit or visa with full unrestricted workingrights. Work eligibility will be checked as part of the recruitmentprocess.
