About the Role

n

We are seeking a professional, motivated, and reliable Experienced A-Grade Electrician to join our Melbourne-based team. This permanent position is ideal for an experienced electrician ready to take the next step into a leadership role, overseeing works across supermarket, retail, commercial, and construction projects throughout Victoria.

n

The role involves leading small teams on-site, coordinating daily tasks, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Projects may occasionally require working away from home and participating in rotating day/night shifts.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

n

- Lead and supervise on-site electrical works, including allocation of daily tasks and coordination of labour
n
- Ensure compliance with all relevant OH&S; legislation, site-specific procedures,



and safety policies
n
- Install, test, commission, and maintain electrical and electronic wiring, apparatus, and fixtures in accordance with current Australian Standards
n
- Provide on-the-job training, guidance, and mentoring to apprentices and trainees
n
- Monitor and manage consumables, materials, and tools on site
n
- Maintain accurate and organised records of works completed, defects, and service tasks
n
- Liaise professionally with clients, site supervisors, and internal management
n
- Ability to work overtime and weekends when required
n
- Carry out other reasonable duties within the scope of the role
n

Key Licences, Skills & Experience

n
- Unrestricted Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence
n
- Current OHS Induction Card
n
- Construction Industry White Card
n
- Australian Permanent Residency
n
- Proven experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical environments
n
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead teams without direct supervision
n
- Robust knowledge of current electrical standards and regulatory requirements
n
- Experience in control wiring and/or commercial property infrastructure (highly regarded)
n
- Computer and mobile device literacy
n
- Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills
n
- Strong organisational skills and punctuality
n
- A proactive, can-do attitude with strong written and verbal communication
