We are seeking a highly skilledSenior Control Systems Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will design, develop, service, and maintain control and automation systems for mining and industrial applications. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in PLC and SCADA systems and a passion for problem-solving and innovation.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the ongoing maintenance of control systems assets, including PLCs, SCADA systems, and associated OT equipment;
- Provide control systems support and technical assistance for breakdowns and production critical issues, and daily technical support assistance as required by customers;
- Ability to design, develop, and commission projects from beginning to end;
- Produce project documentation, including scopes of work, functional specifications, and test documentation;
- Deliver project management and service to major customers in the resources and industrial sectors;
- Work both independently and within a dynamic team setting with the ability to lead the team and manage relationships both internally and externally and
- Maintain and grow customer relationships.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 6 years' experience working as a Control Systems Engineering in resources or heavy industry;
- Extensive Allen-Bradley PLC and Plant SCADA (Citect SCADA) experience;
- Troubleshooting & fault-finding abilities;
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality;
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplined team;
- Mining and CHPP experience an advantage;
- Degree qualifications in Electrical/Electronic/Computer or Diploma, Advanced Diploma Electrical Engineering;
