Tech Lead | Melbourne Hybrid | $190,000 + Super + Bonus

An established enterprise software business investing in a new engineering function as part of a broader expansion. The team is small, well backed, and genuinely building with AI. This is a Tech Lead role with real weight, someone who wants architecture ownership and a direct hand in technical direction.

The role:

- Lead a team of three, split roughly 70% architecture and leadership, 30% hands on
- Sit close to the AI tooling embedded across the engineering practice
- Melbourne based, hybrid, with flexibility on how the week is split
- Genuine input into technical direction, with direct access to senior leadership

The person:

- JavaScript and TypeScript stack




- Comfortable holding architecture ownership while staying hands on
- Genuinely AI forward, not just familiar with the tools
- Explicit communicator who can lead and mentor technically
