An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Data Engineer to join a large, complex organisation and work across a mature enterprise data setting.

This is a hands-on role combining data engineering, data warehousing and Power BI development , with a strong focus on the Microsoft technology stack. You'll help enhance an established Data Warehouse environment, develop ETL solutions and deliver high-quality reporting and data solutions that support business decision-making.

What you'll be doing

- Enhance and maintain a complex Data Warehouse environment
- Develop ETL solutions using SQL Server, SSIS and Microsoft Fabric
- Build engaging and effective Power BI reports
- Design and implement semantic models and operational data stores
- Analyse and improve ETL and reporting performance
- Work closely with business SMEs to understand and refine data and reporting requirements
- Provide technical advice across data engineering and business intelligence

What we're looking for





You'll be an experienced Data Engineer or BI Developer with a strong background in the Microsoft data and BI ecosystem .

Ideally, you'll bring:

- Hands-on experience with SSIS, SSAS and/or SSRS
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric
- Solid ETL development , workflow and data mapping experience
- Extensive Data Warehouse development experience
- Understanding of conceptual, logical and physical data modelling
- Experience translating business requirements into practical data and reporting solutions
