About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Medical Staff member to take on the role of the Co-Director of Clinical Training supporting International Medical Graduates at ERH.

The position plays a vital role in collaboration with the Medical Education team, in supporting International Medical Graduate doctors to integrate and develop their medical careers in the Australian Health system. Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer/Executive Director Medical Services, the position works closely with the Medical Education Team, Medical Workforce Unit and Co-Director on the development, delivery and evaluation of IMG orientation and education programs, oversight for supervision structures and support of IMGs in their progression.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead the development, delivery and evaluation of IMG orientation programs




- Lead the development and evaluation of IMG education programs
- Participate in the delivery of IMG education and training
- Provide oversight of regular, structured and frequent assessments of IMGs
- Provide oversight for the progression of IMGs
- Actively participate as a member of the Assessment Review Panel
- Promote and support cultural safety for IMGs

Qualifications/experience required:

- Current AHPRA + Specialist registration with MBA
- A passion for education and training
