The Opportunity

n

As an Intermediate Accountant within the Business Services team, you will work with a diverse client portfolio across a range of industries, assisting with compliance, tax and advisory-related matters.

n

You will gain exposure to:

n

Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships

n

BAS preparation and compliance requirements

n

Tax planning and general taxation advice

n

Assisting clients with business improvement and advisory matters

n





Building strong relationships with clients and understanding their business goals

n

Working with modern cloud accounting systems including Xero

n

About You

n

You will ideally have:

n

2+ years' experience in Australian public practice accounting

n

Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns

n

Exposure to a portfolio of SME clients

n

Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline

n

CA or CPA studies commenced (or a willingness to undertake)

n

Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in developing client relationships

n
