The Bathroom Biz has been helping Brisbane homeowners create beautiful bathrooms since 2002. We're a locally owned family business with showrooms at Sumner Park and Brendale, known for quality products, honest advice and outstanding customer service.

We're looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused person to join our friendly Sumner Park showroom.

n

This role is ideally part-time (3-4 days per week), however we're open to discussing a full-time position for the right person. Please note that availability to work Saturdays (8:30am-1:30pm) is essential.

n

This is a showroom-based role where you'll work face-to-face with customers as they plan one of the most exciting projects in their home. If you enjoy sales, have a flair for design and love helping customers bring their ideas to life, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Assisting customers with selections for bathrooms, laundries and kitchens
n
- Providing product advice and design guidance
n
- Preparing quotations and processing sales
n
- Following up enquiries and building customer relationships
n
- Creating easy bathroom layouts using SketchUp (or learning to)
n
- Assisting with showroom presentation
n




- Assisting with online enquiries, website updates and occasional marketing activities.
n

About you

You'll bring:

- Loves working with people
n
- Enjoys sales and customer service
n
- Has great organisational and communication skills
n
- Is confident using computers and learning new software
n
- Has a flair for design and enjoys helping customers make selections
n

n

Bonus points if you have:

n

n
- Interior Design qualifications or a natural eye for design
n
- SketchUp or similar design software experience
n
- Retail sales experience
n
- Bathroom, kitchen or renovation industry experience
n
- E-commerce, website or social media experience
n
- MYOB experience (our sales and inventory system)
n
