n GenesisCare now has exciting prospect for an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse to join our supportive team at our Hurstville clinic on a casual basis, which offers specialised cancer care services including radiation therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and haematology.

n

The role will be a part of a close-knit team of nurses who deliver best practice care in Radiation Therapy. Along with the multidisciplinary team, you will be part of giving our patients an exceptional treatment experience.

More specifically, you will:

n

n
- Attend patient assessment.
n
- Administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapies and blood transfusions
n
- Establish a compassionate setting by providing emotional, psychological and spiritual support to patients, family and friends.
n
- Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists / Oncologist / Haematologists and the multidisciplinary team.
n
- Maintain own professional development and sets goals to address gaps or desired growth.
n
- Maintain patient and organisation confidence by adhering to policy and procedure.
n
- Contribute to the team effort by assisting with team goals.
n
- Bring a positive, enthusiastic and 'can-do' attitude to work.
n

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

n

n
- Current and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
n
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to demonstrate empathy for patients and their carers.
n




- Demonstrated clinical and problem-solving skills.
n
- Ability to plan and coordinate the clinical management of care.
n
- Commitment to and involvement in the application of quality improvement and evidence-based practice principles.
n
- The ability to accurately document and manage patient information using electronic clinical systems.
n
- ADAC Competent and Oncology experience is essential.
n
