We're partnering with a highly regarded developer-builder to recruit an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join the team on a landmark $250M, three-stage residential development in Brisbane.

This is a genuine opportunity to play a key role in the project's success from the very beginning, taking ownership of the pre‐construction phase before transitioning into delivery as construction progresses.
n
Working alongside an experienced leadership team, you'll be heavily involved in the front‐end of the project, taking the design from approximately 70% through to construction‐ready documentation while ensuring the project is set up for a successful build.
n
This isn't a role for someone who needs hand‐holding. You'll be expected to hit the ground running and provide technical leadership across the pre‐construction process.

Key Responsibilities
n

- Lead and coordinate pre‐construction activities for Stage 1 of a major $250M development.
n
- Manage design coordination and design development through to construction issue.
n
- Drive early contractor engagement and collaborate with consultants and subcontractors.
n
- Assist with trade procurement, package development and tender evaluations.
n
- Work closely with the estimating team on cost planning, value management and commercial outcomes.
n
- Develop and manage construction programmes and project sequencing.
n
- Ensure the project is fully prepared for a seamless transition into construction.

About You
n
n
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
n
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer on large‐scale residential or commercial developments.
n
- Strong understanding of design management and pre‐construction processes.
n
- Experience with procurement, cost control, programming and value engineering.
n
- Commercially astute with excellent stakeholder management skills.
n
- Able to work autonomously and confidently in a fast‐paced workplace.
