Summit HVAC is a growing business looking for an experienced 2 x HVAC/R Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing refrigeration and air conditioning systems across residential, commercial and industrial sites. This full-time role is based in Unanderra NSW (current clients are located in Greater Wollongong, Southern Highlands, Sydney and Cowra – therefore travel is required). The salary range offered is $80,000 to $95,000 plus superannuation based on experience and skills. 482 work-visa can be considered.

Main duties of this role include:

- ? Install, service and repair HVAC/R systems and equipment
n
- ? Determine installation and repair work through drawings, layouts, and specifications
n
- ? Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC/R systems, and identify maintenance risks
n
- ? Install, test and repair compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, gauges & switches
n
- ? Undertake mechanical tasks such as drilling holes, mounting brackets, duct work, and layouts
n




- ? Clean, adjust and repair HVAC/R systems, and performing warranty services
n
- ? Perform emergency repairs as per client complaints and requirements
n
- ? Resolve clients' queries, and provide job and service quotation after pre-assessments
n
- ? Record malfunctions and repair logs for maintenance, monitoring, and warranties
n
- ? Ensure compliance with appliance standards and other regulatory guidelines
n
- ? Minimise inventory loss, order parts and ensure budget control for each job
n

Requirements

- ? Current ARC Refrigerant Handling License (RHL)
n
- ? Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent
n
- ? Valid driver's license
n
- ? Solid fault diagnosis skills
n
- ? Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
