About the Role

n

Bankstown Sports Club is seeking a high-energy and switched-onDuty Manager to join our leadership team in a large-scale, high-volume hospitality environment.

n

This is a hands-on role where you will act as the on-shift escalation point, overseeing the smooth operation of our venue during trade. You will lead from the floor, manage risk, control venue flow, and support multiple departments including Food & Beverage, Gaming, Events, and Car Park operations.

n

Reporting directly to the Senior Duty Managers, you will make real-time operational decisions, lead large teams, and ensure service standards, safety, and compliance are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- On-shift escalation point for operational and customer issues
n
- Day-to-day operational management of a large, multi-outlet venue
n
- Control floor flow and staffing during peak trade
n
- Lead and coordinate multiple departments on shift
n
- Reallocate staff and resources to meet business demands
n
- Manage contractors, including cleaning services
n




- Resolve difficult customer issues professionally and confidently
n
- Ensure compliance with RSA, RCG, WH&S;, and emergency procedures
n
- Lead teams through high-volume and fast-paced service periods
n

About You

n

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

n

n
- Proven leadership experience as Duty or Venue Manager in a high-volume hospitality, food & beverage, or gaming setting
n
- Experience leading medium to large operations team
n
- Strong resilience and productivity under pressure
n
- Confidence handling escalated and challenging customer situations
n
- Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions in real time
n
- Strong attention to detail and operational awareness
n
- Flexibility to work day, night, and weekend shifts
n
- Current RSA, RCG and ARCG
n
- Senior First Aid qualification (or willing to obtain)
n
- Gaming experience is highly desirable
n
