The Opportunity
We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join a high-performing industrial operation in South West Sydney.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of the electrical reliability of a highly automated, quick-paced manufacturing environment , working alongside an experienced maintenance team where no two days are the same. You will be reporting into the Engineering Manager.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Troubleshoot complex electrical faults and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime.
- Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance across electrical and automated equipment.
- Fault find across PLC, HMI, VSD, motor and control systems .
- Diagnose issues with sensors, instrumentation, heating controls, pumps, valves and associated equipment.
- Respond quickly and effectively to electrical breakdowns and production-critical issues.
What We’re Looking For
- NSW Electrical Licence / Certificate III in Electrotechnology.
- Minimum 5 years' post-trade experience .
- Proven experience within industrial or manufacturing environments .
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic capability.
- Experience working with PLC/HMI-controlled equipment .
- Strong understanding of VSDs, motors, sensors and electrical control systems .
