About the role:

n

We're seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter to join our team at the Ballarat Mine Site. This role plays a key role in ensuring that our heavy mobile equipment is ready for safe and efficient operations.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

Diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of heavy earthmoving machinery.

n

Perform scheduled servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance.

n

Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic,



and electrical systems.

n

Complete maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety procedures.

n

Work collaboratively with site supervisors and operators to maximize fleet up time.

n

About you:

n

Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter (or equivalent).

n

Experience with large-scale earthmoving equipment (e.g. CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi).

n

Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

n

Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

n

Current HR Licence.

n

Previous experience on a mine site.
