Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Hands-on overhaul, repair, & precision testing of critical rail & transport components.
n




- Refurbish & test high-tech equipment including air compressors, brake calipers, & pantographs.
n
- Utilise mechanical expertise to ensure all products meet strict safety & performance standards.
n
- Maintain high standards of accuracy when recording test outcomes & signing off engineering documentation.
n

What We Are Looking For

n

To be successful in this role, you will need:

n

n
- A Mechanical Trade certificate, Diploma in Engineering, or equivalent is essential.
n
- At least 3 years in a workshop or engineering environment focusing on mechanical component repair & testing.
n
- Strong knowledge of pneumatic & hydraulic systems (experience with air compressors or Rollingstock/Light Automotive is highly regarded).
n
- A valid OH&S; White Card, plus the ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including Drug & Alcohol screening) & a Police Check.
n
- A valid LF Forklift Licence or Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card is highly advantageous.
n
