Quality Assurance Specialist - Packaging

Drive packaging quality where it matters most - at the source, on the line and with suppliers

- Embed Asahi packaging quality systems on site by applying HACCP verification, GMP practices and packaging QA standards within day‐to‐day operations.
n
- Audit packaging processes, materials and suppliers against AGPRM and Asahi requirements, following through on gap closure and corrective actions.
n
- Support packaging trials and investigations, working with site teams to assess risk, integrity and compliance of packaging changes.
n
- Analyse quality data using SAP and statistical tools to identify trends, investigate non‐conformance and inform practical decisions.
n
- Coach packaging, production and laboratory teams on quality control methods, audit outcomes and quality at source expectations.

YOUR IMPACT

Based at our Wulkuraka QLD, site this role plays a critical part in maintaining packaging quality by embedding consistent standards, disciplined measurement and effective audit practices.
n It supports solid compliance to Asahi Global Standards while reducing quality incidents, non‐conforming materials and consumer complaints.
n Working alongside site quality, packaging teams and suppliers, the role strengthens quality at source and builds confidence in packaging materials entering production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

ABOUT YOU

- You bring experience in packaging, quality or manufacturing environments and are comfortable applying structured quality systems in a production setting.
n
- You understand food safety and quality principles, including HACCP and GMP, and how they translate into everyday packaging operations.
n
- You communicate clearly and work constructively with operators, site teams and suppliers to resolve issues and build alignment.
n
- You work confidently across sites and functions, managing priorities independently while staying connected to the wider quality team.
