Job Description

n

Provide architectural leadership to establish an enterprise-wideAgent Orchestration and Management Control Tower. The role will define andguide the implementation of core capabilities that enable secure, scalable andgoverned delivery of AI/automation agents across a federated operating model,while providing a single pane of glass for visibility, control,assurance and intervention.

Key Accountabilities

Architecture & Strategy

n

n
- Define the target architecture, reference patterns and roadmap for the AgentControl Tower, aligned to enterprise standards and mining operational riskexpectations.
n
- Translateconceptual wiring into implementable architecture coveringplatforms, integrations, governance, and runtime controls.
n

n

Agent Lifecycle Governance

n

n
- Architectand standardize agent registration, approval, validation and policybinding.
n
- Establish permission‐baseddiscovery and cataloging of agents and tools across business units.
n
- Ensurelifecycle governance is embedded into federated delivery pipelines.
n

n

Orchestration & Control

n

n
- Defineorchestration patterns to enable controlled agent invocation, tool accessand inter‐agent interaction.
n
- Establishcontrol points (e.g. gateways/proxies, policies,



contracts) to enforceenterprise guardrails.
n
- AgentControl Tower Reference Architecture & Target State
n
- Agent Registration,Discovery & Observability Standards
n
- Assurance& Intervention Framework
n
- Federated OperatingModel and Governance Artifacts (ADRs, guardrails, templates)

Required Experience & Skills

- 8–12+years in Enterprise / Platform Architecture within complex, regulatedenvironments (resources, mining, heavy industry preferred).
n
- Provenexperience designing platform control planes,registries/catalogues, and governance frameworks.
n
- Strongbackground in integration architecture, observability, andsecurity-by-design.
n
- Demonstratedsuccess operating across federated delivery models.
n
- Executive‐levelcommunication and decision‐making capability.
n

- Design interventionmechanisms (e.g. throttling, blocking, kill‐switches) with fullaudibility.

- Integratethe control tower with observability, security, ITSM, data and costmanagement platforms.
n
- Definecanonical data and event models to enable consistent reporting andoperational response.

Federated Operating Model

n

n
- Establisharchitecture governance, standards, and RACI for federated agentdelivery teams.
n
- Coachteams, drive adoption of guardrails, and ensure architectural integrity atscale.
n
