Intermediate Accountant (Business Services / Public Practice)

About the role

n

As an Intermediate Accountant in our Business Services team, you'll work on real client work across financial statements, tax returns and activity statements, with coaching directly with your manager.

n

Key responsibilities

n

Prepare financial statements and complete general ledger reconciliations.

n

Prepare income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.

n

Prepare BAS, IAS and FBT returns and supporting workpapers.

n





Deliver accurate work to deadlines and communicate professionally with clients.

n

About you

n

Up to 18 months' experience in public practice (business services)

n

Relevant accounting degree/diploma completed or underway; interest in further study (e.g., CA/CPA).

n

Solid written/verbal communication and attention to detail.

n

Confident with Office 365 – Co-pilot; Xero and/or MYOB exposure is an advantage.
