Mechanical Assembler - Agricultural Spraying Equipment

This is an exciting opportunity to join BA Pumps & Sprayers as an Assembler. As a member of the production team, you will be joining a dedicated team of assemblers and ensuring the efficient and high-quality assembly of products at our North Geelong, Victoria facility. This full-time role offers excellent opportunities for career development in a dynamic and growing manufacturing environment.

What you'll be doing

n

Assemble a variety of Agricultural spraying equipment ranging from basic linkage sprayers, larger broadacre linkage sprayers to large custom truck sprayers

n

Fitting of Agricultural GPS guidance systems and Automatic rate controllers

n

Sub-Assembly of basic components for spray units

n

Test, diagnose and repair assembly faults

n

Keep a safe and organised work setting and adhere to all health and safety protocols

n

What we're looking for

n

Several years of experience in a similar assembly or manufacturing role

n

Experience using both hand and power tools

n

Strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.

n

Experience working with hydraulics and 12 volt wiring systems

n

Excellent communication and the ability to work as part of a team

n





Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve production issues

n

Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality control, and workplace health and safety practices

n

Commitment to continuous improvement and a collaborative mindset

n

A mechanical trade background with exposure to Agriculture is highly desirable
