About the role:

n

Take advantage of the opportunities on offer within our SE QLD sites and become part of the K&S; Fleet moving Australia!

n

You can be based in Gympie, Sunshine coast or even the Northern suburbs of Brisbane.

n

You'll be provided with your own truck and the flexibility to bring the truck home (within reason) and be transporting a range of materials to our customers and K&S; sites around Southeast Queensland.

n

There will be lots of overtime and weekend work on offer if you'd like it, with the opportunity to diversify and learn other driving skills within other contracts.

n

Load restraint training will be provided, and you'll receive support within your experienced team to master the safe transportation of our valuable cargo.

n

Responsibilities:

n

n
- Completing pre-start checks, loading and following load restraint methods
n
- Completing deliveries to customers and K&S; sites between Gympie and Brisbane
n




- Preparing and completing of logbook requirements
n
- Travelling to various client's sites and preparing trucks to be unloading/loaded (e.g. Loosen straps/chains & tie down equipment)
n
- Customer service and communicating movements with the team when required
n
- Working between our Gympie, Coopers Plains and Port of Brisbane sites and completing local deliveries of general freight, steel or construction products.

Success Profile:

n

n
- MC license & experience driving and manoeuvring around customer sites
n
- Experience using multiple restraint methods preferred but not essential as training will be provided
n
- An energetic attitude and understanding of completing jobs safely and efficiently
n
- Your commitment to safety and following processes is exceptional
n
- You can follow instructions and communicate professionally with customers and teammates
n
